
All incoming Kindergarten students for upcoming school year 25-26 is required to have updated vaccines prior to first day of school, Aug. 1st. Please send a copy of updated TN State immunization form once student has received vaccines to your child's school no later than Aug. 1st. Ms. Molly Gore's rising second graders are learning about plants this morning through reading passages, answering comprehension questions and completing crafts to label the life cycle, plant parts, and other important plant information. Students then worked with partners to pull information from a text to answer questions about each plant part. We are proud of how hard they are working!

Overton County Schools will host the Junior Wildcats Middle School Softball tryouts this week at the Livingston Academy softball field. Seventh and eighth grade girls will try out for varsity on June 12, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30. Fifth and sixth grade girls, tryouts will be held for the junior varsity on June 13, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30. All participants should bring a copy of an up to date physical.

Ms. Candice Kirk's Rising 6th grade is practicing their engineering and design skills by building campsites using only paper, tape, and scissors. Each campsite had to include movable features, shelter, and a source for light and to cook.

Mrs. Jennifer Ledbetter's rising first grade learned about the weather this week. They had fun forecasting the weather, making weather crafts and one experiment was to see if they could make it rain in a jar.
