Today’s drive-through flex/virtual day was a true example of what makes Overton County special. While students and families came by to pick up learning packets, food, and water, we were reminded that when our community faces a challenge, we show up for one another.
We are incredibly grateful to our county and city officials for their coordination and support, and a special thank you to Cumberland Container and Ricky Dodson for helping deliver much-needed water to our schools and families.
Thank you to our faculty, staff, administrators, and district supervisors who jumped in with an all-hands-on-deck mindset to make this day successful. Your dedication to our students goes far beyond the classroom, and it shows.
And most importantly, thank you to our families for your patience, flexibility, and continued support of Overton County Schools during this time. We appreciate you more than you know.
