Dear Parents,
Overton County Schools will be implementing a new K-2 Report Card. For the last several years, our K-2 report cards have been standards-based paper-pencil versions. This has left us without electronic access to student records and our K-2 parents without electronic access for their students. After gaining teacher input, we have worked hard to develop a standards-based report card that is now in Skyward. The grading scale has also been changed to reflect the current 3rd-12th grading scale. We believe this is a positive change and will be more effective for all parties.
We realize that even positive change is hard but feel this is the best choice for our students, teachers, and families. We are in hopes that you will help support us in this change.
