Livingston Middle School Brings Social Studies to Life

Students presented information about Native American cultures, traditions, and way of life to an audience of peers. Students made tools and weapons out of different materials and presented information as if they were members of the tribe. Some students created bow and arrows and tomahawks out of sticks, clothes hanger, cardboard, and paper. Students created headpieces with feathers or bandannas based on their tribe. Some built the types of houses the Cherokee lived in during the summer and winter. Students enjoyed sharing their knowledge with peers.
