During Read Across America Week, we celebrate the parents, educators, librarians, and other champions of reading who help launch our children on that critical path of reading. Mrs. Micki's third grade classroom at AH Roberts Elementary School got to enjoy listening to Mr. Smith read. He took this opportunity to share his love of reading to young learners through a piece of historical fiction that tells of the early days of the women’s suffrage movement through the eyes of a young girl named Bessie. AH Roberts appreciates Mr. Smith taking the time out of his day to engage with these future middle schoolers.
