the local EMS team has notified the district early this morning concerning the bad weather coming through tonight and the potential for flooding. With some districts closing today, we have received permission form the state to have virtual day tomorrow IF needed. Teachers have sent home assignments this afternoon just in case.

Voluntary Pre-K program Kick off night - Thursday March 13 from 4:30-6:00 P.M/
Enrollment will be held at the school of your choice (AH Roberts, Allons, Hilham, Rickman, and Wilson). VPK is serves 3 and 4 year old children. Must be 3 or 4 by August 15th. Please see our website for more information. (Programs -> Voluntary Pre-K) or call the district office at 823-1287.

Due to the ongoing icy weather conditions, Overton County Schools requested an additional virtual day from the state. This has been approved, and Overton County Schools will be virtual for Friday February 21, 2025

The November 12, 2024 school board meeting has been rescheduled to November 4, 2024. The meeting will begin at the normal time of 6:30 with the work session following the meeting.

As part of their STEAM education, rising 5th graders dissect owl pellets to identify the bones of small animals. This activity is just one of the numerous hands-on experiences that students engage in during summer learning camps.
