Come support Overton County Schools' music program tomorrow night at Livingston Academy! They will be performing a free concert for the community in addition to a holiday dinner (see attached photo for pricing information). Our very own Mr. Greg Dingwall pours immense passion into his work, helping students grow in their artistic talents as well as in character. Our students have also also put in tremendous effort for this event. We hope to see you there!

LA Seniors: Miss Teresa Johnson will be hosting a Tennessee Promise meeting on Thursday, December 11th. It will take place in the gym during Primetime. This is a mandatory meeting.

All Livingston Academy Basketball Reserved Seating tickets need to be picked up in the LA office by December 5th at 2:00 PM.

Livingston Academy seniors are invited to next week's Christmas party event, hosted by Project Graduation. More details are below, and again, this event is for seniors only.

Livingston Academy had the fortune of hosting two signing events this week. On Monday, Emma Poston signed to attend Bryan College on a basketball scholarship, and on Wednesday, Jozie Allen signed to attend Maryville College on a softball scholarship. Congratulations to both these ladies for their accomplishment at LA and for the great things they will achieve at their respective universities!


Today, LA's Health Science students earned their CPR certification with the guidance of School Nurse Marcie Matthews. Congratulations to these students on their hard work and for learning this important skill!

Beginning November 3, Reserved Seating Tickets for the upcoming basketball season may be picked up in the LA office from 8:00 to 2:00.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Livingston Academy Beta Club has created a wall of honor and memory for those afflicted with the disease. Students, faculty, and staff have joined in the effort, writing the names of those they know on ribbons to be displayed in the cafeteria. Pictured are Beta members Makenzie King and Chloe Hammock, who worked the wall during today's Second Lunch. Stop by tomorrow (our school-wide Pink-Out Day) and help the wall grow!


The LA Beta Club will be sponsoring a Pink-Out this Thursday, October 30. This is in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, in honor and memory of those afflicted with the disease and their family members. Hats may be worn as long as they are pink. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate in this annual tradition.Â

In honor of National First Responders Day, Livingston Academy's student government celebrated local first responders. Thank you to everyone that serves our community!

Friday's pep rally saw Livingston Academy celebrate its senior athletes for fall sports, with each group receiving an ovation from the student body. We are so proud of these students for all they've given to LA and all they will continue to do!
