Important Update Concerning Face Coverings

Currently, the wearing of facemasks is strongly suggested but optional in Overton County Schools. A mask mandate would be one of the last measures the district would take in order to keep schools open. Until the board changes procedure, Overton County Schools will continue to strongly suggest students wear a face covering while at school.

Important Bus Transportation information

All students riding the bus to and from school are required to wear a mask
on the bus. If students do not have a mask – one will be provided for
them. Students will be checked for temperature each day when they
arrive at school. A seating chart will be made for each bus route.
Students will be required to ride in the same seat each day to and from
school. Any student who is running a fever of 100.4 or above will be
required to go home.

NEW: Remote Learner Center

We are launching a new Remote Learner Center as part of our district website. This location will aggregate resources for parents and students to support remote learners.

Mental Health Resources

There’s always been a need to address mental health, perhaps now
more than ever. We hope these resources will be beneficial to you
and your family. If you need further assistance, you can also
contact your school counselor.
