Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in Agriculture is a Level 4 CTE course offered at Livingston Academy that focuses on UAS technology designed to aid students in preparation to take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) remote Pilot Certification exam for commercial drone pilots. This UAS course, taught by Mr. Jason Copeland, is designed to develop specific knowledge and skills associated with (UAS) technologies, platforms, and precision attachments to monitor, map, and provide data to make agricultural management and production recommendations in the Upper Cumberland.
